⁷² And again Peter denied with an oath that he knew the man. ⁷³ And after a while, some people standing nearby came up and said to Peter, Surely you are also one of them, for your speech gives you away.

⁷⁴ Then he began to curse, and to swear that he did not know the man. And immediately the cock crew.
